What I've always hated about floor mats is that whatever water is on your foot ends up on your brake and gas pedal and then it drips from the pedals down to the carpet in front of the floor mat, still ending up soaking the carpet. I bought a set just for the front, I don't need them in the back. http://www.weathertech.com/store/mvproduct...4&Year=2008 If you really want to make people safe drivers again then simply remove all the safety features from cars. No more seat belts, ABS brakes, traction control, air bags or stability control. No more anything. You'll see how quickly people will slow down and once again learn to drive like "normal" humans.
