tvchanger
I replaced my heater core on a 97 Seville STS. The passenger side is blowing hot all the time. Drivers side blows cold, good air flow from all three locations.
BodybyFisher
I don't know the 97, do you have separate driver and passenger temp controls? Ranger
Flush the heater core first. Sediment in the bottom of the core will cause the air to become stratified, delivering cold air to the drivers side and hot to the passengers side. If that doesn't help then the drivers side air mix door actuator may be bad. I forget if the drivers side is on the top or the bottom, but you can see them move by changing the temp controls. One is accessible through the glove box and the other from beneath. At least they where that way on my '97 Deville. I'm assuming the Seville is the same. Before you do anything, try running the temp all the way up to 90 then back to 60 just incase it is just a sticky door.
tvchanger
I don't know the 97, do you have separate driver and passenger temp controls? Yes, I do have dual controls. I have tried going from 90 to 60 deg several times, the upper door control sticks in the 90 deg position. I can get it to move once in a while by raising & lowering the temp. If I stay 85 and below the control valve works fine. When you go to 90 it sticks. B1341 Code is current. Any Ideas..

You probably have seen my thread on the 1340 code, I replaced my actuator and my problem was solved. It was about $100, you might find one in a scrap yard.
