tomcad95
I am looking to do a tune-up on my 95 Deville with the 4.9 motor. I was looking at the location of the back four spark plugs and was wondering if there was a special tool or trick to ease the replacing of those plugs. I am also looking to change the O2 Sensor, is there a special tool to remove it from the exhaust manifold. Thanks
Ed Hall
I used a set of wobble extensions of different lengths to do mine.
Bruce Nunnally
Plugs: An articulated socket helps. You have to be very careful not to knock nearby sensors off also. O2: there is a special O2 sensor wrench / socket that has a slit along one side of the tool to allow the O2 sensor pigtail through. Not specific to Cadillac, just to O2 sensors, so you should be able to find one in any local auto parts store.
