Jalopnik caught the UK Top Gear show in the US testing 3 American cars -- a Cadillac CTS-V, a Corvette ZR-1, and a Chrysler Challenger SRT8.

Kind of odd to have 425hp and be the weak sister in the bunch, huh SRT8?

Be forewarned. Jeremy is not exactly fond of American cars. He's definitely prejudiced against them so I would be very surprised if he says anything nice about those cars. He might like the Corvette after that impressive performance on the Autobahn though. Most of the people I know in the UK can't stand Jeremy. What you don't see on Top Gear is how many cars he wrecks in accidents. The guy really doesn't know how to drive.

If you really want to make people safe drivers again then simply remove all the safety features from cars. No more seat belts, ABS brakes, traction control, air bags or stability control. No more anything. You'll see how quickly people will slow down and once again learn to drive like "normal" humans.

Yes, I am familiar with the character of the show. They are likely to be very negative about any American car, but perhaps some of the facts will leak out during the review.
