woody Posted July 18, 2008 Report Share Posted July 18, 2008 Hey all. I guy I work with has a 2002 DTS with an aftermarket remote starter he bought from Rinke Cadillac about a month ago. He went to start the car and it did but as soon as he touched the brakes the car died. He tried to remove the keys and they will not come out. He also has no power. Being at work we had no way to check the battery. The dealer told him to remove the positive cable and see if it would release the computer, no luck. Just wondering if there is anything we can try. Typically after about 12-18 months crazy stuff starts to happen. Just my opion.
