WarrenJ
"The British ministry of health, for example, in a heralded 'reform' move, has decreed that British patients should get emergency room care within four hours. Without disclosing how many emergency patients die within the four-hour waiting period, the ministry has admitted that, at some hospitals, seriously ill patients are kept in ambulances for hours waiting for ER admittance so the hospital does not violate the 'reform.'" http://www.worldnetdaily.com/index.php?fa=...mp;pageId=68363 Sure, there's room for improvement in our health care system, but do you really want it run by the same folk who administer our DMVs? Those folk wouldn't need a New York minute to begin contravening the system as mentioned above. The alternative is only whether the crisis should come sooner as the result of a voluntary abandonment of further credit expansion, or later as a final and total catastrophe of the currency system involved. - Ludwig von Mises
BodybyFisher
We have destroyed the airlines, real estate, education, economy, standard of living, auto industry, manufacturing, steel industry, why not destroy the medical field? Hell we are even selling our roads. Doesn't anyone realize the long term consequence of these types of actions? How does Indiana benefit from this, a quick pop of money? Aren't they collecting tolls now?, raise them if the repairs and maint is not adequate, get a grant from the fed, whatever. Its sacrificing LONG TERM control for a quick pop of money. WarrenJ
I'm having a little difficulty seeing the connection between health care and selling our roads, but YEAH, government can be irresponsible. Sometimes it seems to be their character definition. Regards, Warren There is no means of avoiding the final collapse of a boom brought about by credit expansion.
