richardf
If my cadillac needs a tune up, will this cause the service engine soon light to come on? Thanks. I have also been told that one of the cylinders or pistons has a miss in it because it was not driven on the highway much over the years.

adallak
I bet you will find E48 code. No matter what, first thing to do is cleaning up carbon build up in two EGR tubes inside the throttle body (under the blades). Use a coat hanger to clean them, do not worry about chanks of carbon falling down into the intake. The saddest thing in life is wasted talent
