vdwarren
Is there a proceedure to remove and replace the Engine torqe struts. The problem is the bushings on the engine side. Mike, "Bodybyfisher" you have the same model that I have, and I think you have replaced these at sometime, if I remember correctly. Thanks. MAC
I would only add that you should make sure the nuts come off easily without stripping. I would use Liquid Wrench or WD40 or something. Sometimes the nuts rust a bit.

I am not sure what the engine being cold has to do with it, but if you need two engine mounts and a tranny mount, you could and probably feel vibration and shifting on acceleration Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm

BodybyFisher
The P0717 code will cause rough shifting when it is CURRENT, and you will see a check engine and service trans message.
