94 STS QUESTIONS PLEASE HELPPP!!!!

I just bought a 1994 STS.. and there is no problems with it, but when i start the car and its running it says Motoring systems.. then it confirms Monitoring systems OK.. it then shows that screen press brake to shift from park or w.e then it gives a number 46 or 42 i cant remember once i got a 24 and before a 92.. what do these numbers mean i might have the wrong numbers soo if i do does anyone know were i can find what they mean and tell me what they are for incase i get any other numbers. i have no clue what they are..

I think the numbers you are talking about are just information numbers that display on the screen until you turn them off by toggling through the information button. Check to see if you are in english or metric modes by hitting the eng/met. button. Canada or export car? Sounds like export system codes.
