See the Audi A5, how is it that Audi puts out a coupe, but the Eldo is discontinued?

It is being marketed as the Coupe Redefined

Preaching to the choir, but I wholeheartedly agree....

The roads around my house are packed with Mustangs, and Solara 2-door coupes, and Accord 2-door coupes....

Clearly there is no demand for coupes.

Clearly, no need for Eldorados, or Trans Ams, or Camaros.... naaaahh...

So, ahem, let me clear my throat before I scream at GM one more time to Bring Back the Eldorado!!!

sigh.... the point is moot anyway. By the time they actually do something, I'll have moved on to something else anyway.....

I don't think the issue is whether a coupe can sell, but whether the Eldorado can sell. The Eldorado is a luxury sport coupe with a completely different styling than the Mustang, Audi, etc. Frankly, I wouldn't want Cadillac to completely redesign the Eldorado and take away the distinct Cadillac styling. However, I wouldn't be surprised to see the Eldorado redesigned and reintroduced in the not too distant future.

I expect we will see this soon.

"Classic hardtop styling, with no "B" pillar." YES!!! They are speaking my language. ;)

Let's get it to market Cadillac.

Warren

There is no means of avoiding the final collapse of a boom brought about by credit expansion. The alternative is only whether the crisis should come sooner as the result of a voluntary abandonment of further credit expansion, or later as a final and total catastrophe of the currency system involved. - Ludwig von Mises
