Please price out an engine from Jasper http://www.jasperengines.com/

By all reports they do a great job. It may be more than you choose to pay, but at least it gives you a ceiling on the most one should pay for a engine.

I checked with jasper engines and they are very expensive for a motor.I just would like to keep this old car on the road for a few more years or maybe even sell the car.The car runs very good and drives perfect. It just blows the coolant out of the tank while driving and after shut off.I replaced the cap and done a compression check on the motor.Everything seems to be working very well until I drive it about 5 to 10 miles,it starts getting warm and then it getts about two bars above normal on the gauge and then getts hot,but it has never shut down.
