B1341 code 1997 deville

Recommended Posts

There are 2 air mix doors. One for the drivers side and one for the passengers side. one can be accessed by removing the lower insulator panel on the passenger side and the other by removing the glove box. As you change the requested temperature you will (should) see the actuators move to open and close the doors. Make sure they move when the tempurature it changed. Make sure the actuator to door linkage is connected. Might be a bad actuator or a sticking door.

I just replaced my air mix actuator, it was a 1340 code, and I had single zone heat but this thread should help
