Spurlee Posted June 7, 2007 Report Share Posted June 7, 2007 I'm looking for replacement glass for the passenger side rear view mirror - the one with the integrated turn signal indicator LED's. Rock Auto dosen't carry the part (!) nor does GMParts Direct and the stealership wants $161. Ouch! Any ideas? OynxSTS Posted June 8, 2007 Report Share Posted June 8, 2007 You have three choices 1) Local wrecking yard 2) Ebay 3) The dealer Very few (if any) of the glass shops, aftermarket places, etc carry the part for these cars... Those that do will offer you one that either doesnt heat (or on drivers side doesn't heat or dim)... Further you will find the aftermarket ones require you to peel the old mirror out of the plastic housing and glue it in... None of this is easy... Trust me... I've replaced the glass on both my drivers and passengers side... "nice" aftermarket glass simply does not exist.. it is all crap!
