Cadillac STS Posted April 11, 2004 Report Share Posted April 11, 2004 Hey as you all know my car is a 94' STS and it does have the 3 button aftermarket sunroof that was dealer installed. My problem is that on the highway i can hear wind noise coming from it. how can i get rid of it? if you guys need pictures to try and figure out where to "grease" up the rubber seals i would be more than happy to. thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Doing so will damage them. DO NOT apply silicone to the rubber seals. This too will eventually make the seals hard and they will leak. Instead, try Zymol's "Seal" product which will preseve the seals and keep them soft and flexible. The ENTIRE seal, ALL sides, should be treated. http://www.zymol.com/seal2.htm http://www.zymol.com If you really want to make people safe drivers again then simply remove all the safety features from cars. No more seat belts, ABS brakes, traction control, air bags or stability control. No more anything. You'll see how quickly people will slow down and once again learn to drive like "normal" humans. sonjaab Posted April 12, 2004 Report Share Posted April 12, 2004 STS..............I too had a aftermarket ASC sunroof in my 90 Deville. Wind noise destroyed that quiet interior ! Also leaked like crazy and numerous trips to the dealer never fixed it !! Good thing I had a BOSE CD player to crank up ! To cut down on the wind noise I put a wind deflector from Vent Shade Co. in front of it. It worked pretty good and cut down on wind noise ! You bet my 96 didn't have a sunroof !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
