Ranger Posted February 19, 2007 Report Share Posted February 19, 2007 Mike, I am thinking in terms of looking at the engine in the direction it is facing. Being a transverse mounted engine the front of it is facing the passenger side, thus the rear of the engine is the drivers side and the right side of the engine is the firewall side (where the EGR is located). So if I am correct, the RR would be the drivers side firewall corner, LR would be the drivers side headlight corner, RF would be the passenger side firewall corner and LF would be the passenger side headlight corner. They stated left rear corner, not me, I was only suggesting what they might have been thinking. BUT, you are RIGHT, look at that picture I posted from the SI info, look at where the ARROW is pointing....
