At speeds usually between 40-50 mph in overdrive i will slightly step on the gas and get a slight "bogish" feeling and then the car willeither start to pick up or shift down and go. Ive also tried jumping on it from a start and it bogs alittle there too. so i was wondering if it could be fpr or fuel pump. what do you guys think... Ranger Posted March 28, 2004 Report Share Posted March 28, 2004 Sounds a lot like my '92 when the F/P went. In my case it just fell flat on it's face when I went WOT. Best way to be sure is put a fuel pressure guage on it and see if the fuel pressure drops when you go WOT. I am not positive but I don't think a FPR would cause what you discribe.
