GreenMachine Posted October 17, 2006 Report Share Posted October 17, 2006 That big storm kept my power till yesterday, cable on...then off...then on again today, I'm feeling lucky considering most don't have power yet. I had no phone and no power from thursday early evening/late afternoon till Monday Afternoon. I still am with out phone service, the line is snaped between my house and the pole. Anyway here's a slideshow showing some of the events, this is just my area since when I took the snow pictures there were still trees cracking everwhere and I didn't want a bump on the head. No one with out 4wd or a high vehicle could do anything once it was at its full total on the untreated roads, the snow would start packing infront of the car and making a pile. In some spots when I was I walking around I noticed a drift here or there that would have been mid-door or handles. It did pretty good until the snow got above its ground clearance. Did fine when the roads were just slush, and when I picked my brother up from school the sides streets had a couple inches and it did pretty good, just got to take it easy.
