jndnaps
I had passive struts installed on the car a few month ago and the Service Ride Control light comes on all the time. How do I turn that message off on a 96 DeVille? I only see how to do it on cars up to 95. Thanks, John

KHE
It is most likely the RSS suspension since it is a base Deville. Kevin '93 Fleetwood Brougham '05 Deville '04 Deville 2013 Silverado Z71
stefank
According to the '96 manual the RSS computer expects a reading of 1.7 to 3 Ohms at each damper. I would assume that a resistor in this range should fool the computer. Perhaps using a high load resistor is preferable? The CVRSS damper should be 9.5 + Ohms, at least that's what the manual says. Opinions? Stefan
smokncady
http://maydog.dyndns.org/www/struts/ Figure out if you have RSS or CVRSS and then follow that link.
