The Fred
I won't be able to get ahold of a torque wrench until later today (finally getting ahold of one) so I can't torque the cover bolts back down yet,,, But I would like to start it to see if the new FPR is working right... Waiting is alot of work MerryChristmas Be a Capitalist or work for one. Work for a Capitalist or be one. MerryChristmas
GreenMachine
If your talking about the silver acoustic cover I would just hand tighten it. It's real easy to get them just slightly to tight and have the threds lift out. KHE
I would wait until you get the torque wrench - This is a '94 right? If so, there is no beauty cover like on the '95+ engines. The top of the cover is the manifold in the '93-'94 Northstars. Kevin '93 Fleetwood Brougham '05 Deville '04 Deville 2013 Silverado Z71

See I was thinking some folks had told me that the cover was really very important on my 94, But I wasn't sure if I had to torque it before even starting it I will Didn't get time today - woke up at 3:30PM and was busy from there MerryChristmas Be a Capitalist or work for one.
