I can't afford to put a new motor in it until January, so I'm going to sell it as a parts car and pay the remaining balance of my loan off then as well. There are people on this board who are more than willing to help you find a GOOD USED NorthStar engine that would breathe new life into your Eldo. Probably a lot cheaper that selling your car at a loss (no title) and buying another vehicle & changing the hand controls over. If I were you, I would pull the Ebay add and get the help that is readily available here on the board. There is a fellow (Bodybyfisher) who has located replacement engines for several Caddy owners, one of them in Europe! He lives on Long Island, so he is not too far from where you are. I have friends waiting to help me shut the auctoin down if I'm not happy with the amount. But I'm afraid at the same time I won't have any good money until my company Bonus in January, which I assumed, I would just look around for another Eldo.
