Marika
http://driving.timesonline.co.uk/article/0...99272_1,00.html This is an interesting story. If you really want to make people safe drivers again then simply remove all the safety features from cars. No more seat belts, ABS brakes, traction control, air bags or stability control. No more anything. You'll see how quickly people will slow down and once again learn to drive like "normal" humans.

Cadillac Jim
I think it's great. An affluent Englishman who loves it in spite of himself and its limited practicality in England. I've never been tempted by the Escalade because handling and braking are big things to me. I was trying to buy a Corvette from a Chevy-Cadillac dealer in L.A. when I bought my ETC, which was selected as the best-performing car that Cadillac had in 1997-1998, a two-door STS with slightly less weight and very slightly better times. My favorite Cadillac would have to be the XLR-V, with the XLR, CTS-V, and CTS definitely also favorites. If I had to rank them, it would be in order of handling, V-series first, with the horsepower options listed first. If an optional higher performance drivetrain is offered, I would always take it -- with the exception of AWD, which I'm still not sure about. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars. TdM
Here in Holland we don't see much Escalades... In some cities they're trying to forbid SUV's coz they're not safe (when you get hit by one), not clean and takes a lot of parking space. I wonder if they ever get that going. But when I see the Escalade next to the C1... the Escalade is a huge monster but looks sooo nice
