2004 CTS with CTS-V Mesh Grill

Ordered a CTS-V mesh type grill for my CTS today from gmotors.com. Part number Grille, upper: 21996486 and was $219 with shipping. Technically gmpartsdirect.com offers it for $207 with shipping, but I find gmotors.com is very responsive to email inquiries, and helpful with parts searches, so I don't mind spending a bit more there. I also prefer that S&H charges only contain S&H, not a profit element as well; in this case gmpartsdirect showed $35 S&H vs $12 at gmotors.com.

The grill apparently is a direct replacement for the upper front grill, and includes the emblem. I love the look. Without the lower grill/facia, wheels, side emblems, etc it should be clear I'm not trying to pose as a CTS-V so much as just like the grill.

Yes, I did see that one, but no it does not appeal to me. It is a nice manufacturing effort, but to me an unattractive design.

Got my CTS-V mesh grill in and on the CTS tonight; photos in the garage lights, but you can get an impression of how good it looks:
