Here's how I see it, Michael was trying to save the expense of doing the timeserts, didn't trust the boards advise on doing the timeserts, trusted the knuckle heads at the stealership more, was given 2 options, and chose the cheap way out.

Or he's jerking our chains on the whole matter. I believe the latter.
