I have had a lot of fun with the car over the last five years, but I want to get back into a full size truck. 1996 STS - ~127,000 miles. Transmission was rebuilt at around 102,000. Front suspension was rebuilt at about 107,000 ( all new bushings and links). The car has Arnott passive front struts and rear airbags. The brake system was also rebuilt at this time (all four calipers and rotors as well as parking brake cables were replaced). Fuel pump was replaced with a new AC-Delco at about 112,000. Fuel rail recall was performed last year some time. Sparks plugs and wires and EGR valve were replaced at about 105,000 with genuine AC-Delco parts. White Diamond exterior/ Shale interior: Paint looks good overall, but it does have quite a few rock/bug chips on the nose as well as a few chips in various other areas. Interior is in good condition - front seats show normal wear for a 10 year old car, back seat has hardly ever been used. Carpet is in nice shape. Has 7 spoke chrome STS wheels: tires were replaced about 20,000 miles ago (BF Goodrich Traction T/A's). Equipped with power roof, heated seats, 12 disc changer and steering wheel heat/radio controls. Tinted windows and aftermarket alarm with remote start (1500' advertised range). I will post pictures in a few days - I need to give the car a bath after the rain storms this weekend. Car also comes with a set of factory service manuals and brand new AC-Delco Parking brake cables. I replaced the cables about two years ago with parts-store stuff and I'm not happy with the way they are holding up, so I bought real AC-Delco's to replace them. If, prior to purchasing the Vehicle, the Customer knew, or had evidence, of the existence of a Branded Title for the Vehicle, the Protection does not apply.7. Experian will pay a maximum of the purchase price of the Vehicle paid by the Customer (plus warranties and other additional purchases such as installed aftermarket accessories, not exceeding a total of $500).8. If the purchase price of the Vehicle in item 7 exceeds the NADA Used Car Guides used vehicle retail value at the time of the sale, Experian will pay no more than ten percent (10%) over the NADA Used Car Guides used vehicle retail value at the time the Customer purchased the Vehicle.9. The Buyback Protection will apply only if the Vehicle was manufactured in model year 1981 or later. 10. The Buyback Protection will expire the earlier of (a) the date the Customer sells the Vehicle or ( one (1) year after the date of the first Report run by or for the Customer relating to the Vehicle.11. This Buyback Protection is deemed assigned to the Transferee upon the sale of the Vehicle, provided that a copy of the Report is given to the Transferee and the Transferee registers in accordance with item 12.12. In order for this Buyback Protection to be in effect for Transferees or Consumers, they must register with Experian within ninety (90) days of the date they purchased the Vehicle. I bought a 2003 GMC Sierra Z71 off of Ebay. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...2&category=6244 It has a few more miles than I would have preferred, but none of the local dealers could even come close on the price. It is in very nice shape for the mileage, if you didn't know better, you would swear it only had about 40-50k on the odometer.
