epricedright Posted March 30, 2006 Report Share Posted March 30, 2006 I have a new noise. The last 2 times I drove her, I hear a noise that seems to be coming from the center of the dash. It sounds like metal rattling/vibrating. It's fairly loud and noticable. It only did it for the first couple of miles and only when I stopped. I replaced my blower fan recently, so I don't think that's it. The fan was off when it happened. Has anyone had this peculiar and annoying noise? epricedright Posted April 1, 2006 Author Report Share Posted April 1, 2006 I had that noise again this morning. Turned out to be something rattling around the ashtray. When I push on the trim on the outside of it, it goes away, so no big deal. It only does it for a minute or so when the engine is cold and the idle is higher.
