Scarab
I recently purchased a 96 Seville SLS. The previous owner said the heater fan would quit unexpectedly then restart after a time, with no noticeable pattern. I've driven it a couple hundred miles and it finally did it. There aren't any codes, I had to replace a fan in my 92 Eldo once, but I can't remember if there is a way to test the motor before removing it. Other possible solutions are welcome. BodybyFisher
The blower motors are a weak point on these cars, my 96 had it replaced before I purchased it. Your's is probably shot, but before you conclude its shot check all plugs for burnt contacts. The ignition wires CAN discharge into the motor circuit board and damage the electronics. Make sure that the ignition wires are far away from the blower motor.
