barberben
Can anyone help me figure out how to drop the rear of my 92 STS? I have disabled the ride control system, but I don't know if that also turned off the height/leveling control on the rear. I need to drop it about one and a half inces. I'm pretty sure I can change the front springs to take care of the front end, though I don't know what springs to use, or where to get them. If anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it.
Bob D
I put Eibach springs on my 1993 STS. You might try thier website to see if they make them for '92's. You can see there results on my '93 here: http://caddyinfo.netgetgoing.com/cars/bobd.htm Good luck! '93 STS.. opened, dropped, wide...fast. JasonA
I think you'll need a new spring in the back. That's right...just one spring. The '92 uses a single transverse leaf spring (Corvette style). Starting in 1993, they used coils. Jason(2001 STS, White Diamond) "When you turn your car on...does it return the favor?"
