CadiKing
Well, as you can tell by my earlier post the '99 STS is history! It served me well... Drove it for 66,000 miles for less than $5,000... $0.075 per mile...good deal! Now it is time to buy another one! Anyone with a STS or Eldo wiith Stabilitrac please comment! My only requirement is Stabilitrac and 300 hp! Can you tell me what Cadillacs in 2000 or newer have Stabilitrac? Looking for something newer than the '99... thanks much,

JimD
.... Anyone with a STS or Eldo wiith Stabilitrac please comment! My only requirement is Stabilitrac and 300 hp! Can you tell me what Cadillacs in 2000 or newer have Stabilitrac? .... You will have a difficult time finding a front-wheel-drive Cadillac '02 and newer that does not have Stabilitrac! This is true for 1998, and I believe this information holds for all front-wheel-drive models. The engine type is identified by the 8th digit in the VIN; 9 = highest HP rating (LD8), and Y = other HP rating (L-37). Someone will correct this if I am telling you an untruth. Good luck with your search. Jim Drive your car. Use your cell phone. CHOOSE ONE !
OynxSTS
Gee, I thought all of the STSs, DTS and ETCs came standard with Stabilitrac... Like the CVRSS every year the computers got a little faster and the system got a little better by '00 the system started to be used in other divisions. Crap my even my '01 GLS Intrigue has it... though they don't call it Stabilitrac... Enhanced Stability System or something on the Old's... GM Marketing... Go Figure... I love my Stabilitrac system, on the rainy wet cost and a set of nearly shot RSAs, I get to use the system... well... regularly... It lets you toss around a 2 ton car like it was 2 pounds Easin' down the highway in a new Cadillac, I had a fine fox in front, I had three more in the back ZZTOP, I'm Bad I'm Nationwide Greg
