tommyjack Posted March 4, 2004 Report Share Posted March 4, 2004 My 92 STS with a 94 Deville 4.9 w/42000 miles on starts to miss after driving it for about 30mins at hwy speeds. When it does this the tach jumps up about 5 to 800rmps during the miss. Car has 4000 miles on new AC Delco wires, Rapid fire plugs and auto zone distributor and coil, and ac delco fuel pump. Only happens hot -- maybe the battery? or a poor ground connection that is intermittant when hot?
