engineerbill
I just got an engine from a salvage yard and it didn't have any of the exhaust parts or manifolds. I want to put it in my car. I have the '92 Seville ECU as well. My Cadillac manual shows 1 O2 sensor for '91 Seville and 2 O2 sensors for '93 Seville but it doesn't have the '92 wiring diagrams so I don't know how many to put in the exhaust system. If anyone has a '92 Seville with 4.9L engine, could you please look and tell me how many O2 sensors are required by the '92 Seville? Thanks a million. I really appreciate it. BodybyFisher
There are 2, one on each exhaust manifold/down-pipe.... Your 92 is a 4.9 also, so it should be the same, there were NO major changes in the 4.9, Mike Here is a picture Pre-1995 - DTC codes OBD1 >> 1996 and newer - DTC codes OBD2 >> https://www.obd-codes.com/trouble_codes/gm/obd_codes.htm How to check for codes Caddyinfo How To Technical Archive >> http://www.caddyinfo.com/wordpress/cadillac-how-to-faq/ Cadillac History & Specifications Year by Year http://www.motorera.com/cadillac/index.htm
