Mendozart Posted March 3, 2004 Report Share Posted March 3, 2004 Hi, I'm new to this forum. I personally own a 1992 BMW 525i and a 1990 Toyota 4runner. I do almost all my work and maintenance on these cars. The car I am inquiring about is my mother in laws 1990 Deville. I recently picked up a Cadillac shop manual for this car. The problem is the isc motor is acting erratically. She already picked up an AC Delco isc motor in which I am going to install, but when she picked it up from the parts store, she said they removed the installation instructions. Is there anything I need to know about before installing? The arm that moves in and out is in a seperate bag. Sorry for the long post, TIA, Greg M. adallak Posted March 4, 2004 Report Share Posted March 4, 2004 the ISC motor was the first thing had to replace when I biught my car. i do not remember the details, but it was really easy. one thing to remember you should perform so called learning procedure with computer after replacement. there were many posts regarding the ISC motor replacement, check them out.If you do not find answers ask questions, we'll help.
