Bruce Nunnally Posted February 27, 2004 Report Share Posted February 27, 2004 You car has built in onboard diagnostics that will tell you what the computer thinks the problem is (current) or was (History). In the how-to section at http://caddyinfo.netgetgoing.com/howto.html have a look in the DTC section under "Reading self-diagnostic codes" for how to enable the diagnostic mode on the driver's information center. Then, once you have the codes from the car, you can refer to the lists in that same DTC section to determine in summary what the issue is.
