67coupedeville
I am going out to the farm tommorow to get the Eldorado and bring it back to town. I am going to change the oil, fill up the tranny oil, do a little here and there. Which AC Delco oil filter is the right one. I've got a case of PF-58 here for the 4.5L and 4.9L, please tell me the Northstar uses the same . Thanks in advance. Spence
JasonA
Yes, the Northstar uses the PF-58. I believe that filter has been superceded by the number PF-61, but I believe PF-58 was the previous part number and should work fine. BTW, that filter fits a LOT of GM vehicles, even Oldsmobile V8s as far back as the '70s. Jason(2001 STS, White Diamond) "When you turn your car on...does it return the favor?" Poobah
Easy question, easy answer . . . . I would just ask the parts counter person. He can look up the application very easily. Happiness is owning a Cadillac with no codes.
67coupedeville
I looked up the filter on AC Delco's website last night and it said PF-61, I didn't really want to call around today and I knew someone would know on here. Thanks Jadcock. Spence
