ttom81
I have been reading this forum for some time now and just want to say how helpful it has been to me. I have to admit I was really surprised how helpful and accommodating the members are to each other, especially to newbies like myself. I think I had expected a lot of " Sounds like you have a problem, buddy" sort of replies. I just want to say thanks for a great forum. I'm still learning a lot about my car - '93 Eldorado - that I didn't know, but I hope I can contribute to the forum. Thanks for letting me into a great group. Scotty
Hey welcome and thanks for your observations. Our members have amassed a huge base of knowledge and someone should be able to help you no matter what arises.. Mike Early on sailors navigated by the stars at night and the North star became the symbol for finding ones way home. Once you know where the Northstar is you can point your ship in the right direction to get home. So the star became a symbol for finding ones way home or more symbolically even finding ones path in life.

Poobah
Thanks for your kind words. I know my participation on this board has greatly increased my understanding, and my enjoyment, of my Eldo. These are great cars and the more you know about them, the more you appreciate them. Happiness is owning a Cadillac with no codes.
ttom81
Little Rock - lived here about 55 years. I've had my Eldo 8 years, but didn't drive it much because I enjoy driving my 4X4 back and forth to work. I sort of let it get stale, and now I'm fixing everything that I let go for so long. It's a great car and looks almost new, but there has been a lot of mechanical replacements that I've had to deal with lately. That's how I found the forum and it has been a godsend to me. If I could, I'd bottle it! A small fortune to be made there. In the meantime, I'll simply enjoy. Welcome aboard! Regards, Warren There is no means of avoiding the final collapse of a boom brought about by credit expansion. The alternative is only whether the crisis should come sooner as the result of a voluntary abandonment of further credit expansion, or later as a final and total catastrophe of the currency system involved. - Ludwig von Mises

Little Rock is my old stomping ground. My father's first and last assignment with the federal government was first, in N. Little Rock (Sherwood) in the early sixties, then in Little Rock (Pleasant Valley), in the late 70's. I worked several summers at Colony West Gulf gas station in West Little Rock, when I was home in the summer from college in Michigan. My wife is from Newport, AR and I have a sister in Maumelle. Anyway, enough of that, this forum has been a greatest repository of information and helpful people, as you'ss soon find, you you start posting 'issues' here. I had a '93 Sts and would like to find a late model ETC, should I happen upon one in good condition. I really like the styling of the ETC, and have some 17" Neeper Mynx rims to put on one. And, of course, the Northstar powerplant is what sets Caddys apart, in my opinion...
