adallak
my 96 sedan deville would not start today out of nowhere! My anti theft will not let me start my car! Please help!!! Bad contacts on your key resistor or inside the ignition lock. Try to clean them (carefully) with some rubbing alcohol. Another possibility is that the wires inside ignition lock failed. The easy way is bypassing the key and ignition lock with inserting a resistor equivalent to one in your key into the circuit on car' side. You will lose some security feature though. Serch the archives fro "ignition lock" "won't start" etc. The saddest thing in life is wasted talent
Scotty
Try spraying some WD 40 in the lock with one of those red tubes attached to the nozzle. Try not to overdo it, spray at three depths, deep, mid way and almost out. Move the key in and out to work it in..
