Dealership changes ignition cylinder and key. Fixed. Yrs later in different 97 deville message pops up. Addressed it right away, Dealership. Now 5 yrs later in same car message pops up again. Car has no other issues or codes. Did it really only last that long? Thoughts, observations and experiences and expert advise are all welcome folks. The wires for the chip that come from the ignition cylinder are very common to being brittle and breaking. How often do you move the tilt column?
