Hjd
I have an srx 4,6 from 2004. runs great, but has a problem in the automatic gearbox. problem is like this: driving 80 km/h car idles at 2200rpm shifts over to 5th gear and rpm falls down to 1800 shifts back to 4th gear and this Goes on and on. If i put automatic gearbox in de 4th gear problem is gone. Is this caused by malfunction of a sensor? Ore malfunction of a solenoïde? does anybody have any experience concerning this issue? What can be causing this problem? best regards hendrik
BodybyFisher
Are there any check engine lights? So from what you typed, it seems the transmission is not staying in overdrive?
