I FOUND AT THIS WEB SITE http://www.domesticperformance.com/ THEIR ABILITY TO REPROGRAM OBD2 SOFTWARE. THEY WANT $550.00 TO DO THIS AND A SIGN WAIVER BEFORE REPROGRAMING BEGINS. THEY ALSO RECOMMEND GOING TO A Z RATE TIRE. THIS IS FOR ONLY `96-`98 CADILLAC CARS. ANYONE BRAVE OUT THERE?

I've been thinking about how that's supposed to work, since nobody, has been able to do it yet. They request that you submit your payment, vin#, and other vehicle id info, before they get started. You have to send them a PCM for them to "tune", sinc ethey don't provide one. Personally, I think it's a bunch of crap, but I haven't gotten around to speaking with them about it. Now, if they would only work on those exhaust headers they told me about last year...

Just tuning the PCM, isn't going to pruduce anywhere near the amount of power, it would take to kill a 4T80E. Unless your tuning the car for a specific purpose, such as forced induction, there really isn't anything to gain. On a side note, that page about the "custom OBDII PCM tuning" has been up for about 2 years now. They still haven't figured out how to do it, just like everybody else. If you a mechanically inclined person, with skills rebuilding auto tranny's, you can build your self that "bullet Proof" 4T80E for much less then what they're asking. Here's the website that sells all the parts that go into it. http://www.protechtransmissions.com/perfor...ormance%20Parts

I believe they might be the supplier for Demestic Performance, since they don't build any of their own stuff.

Your CAPS LOCK key is "stuck."

There is no means of avoiding the final collapse of a boom brought about by credit expansion. The alternative is only whether the crisis should come sooner as the result of a voluntary abandonment of further credit expansion, or later as a final and total catastrophe of the currency system involved. - Ludwig von Mises
