Bruce Nunnally
The solenoids are a failure item, and they can on failing cause hard or 'jerky' shifts. You can check the transmission pony tail to ensure none of the connections are worn or crimped. I think in the shop manual there is also a way to check resistences across the pins of the connector to determine the health of some portions of the transmission -- see here http://www.caddyinfo.com/4t80e_componentresistencechart.htm Bruce 2016 Cadillac ATS-V gray/black Follow me on: Twitter Instagram Youtube
