cadillac_caddy_sts Posted February 11, 2005 Report Share Posted February 11, 2005 I need a new power antenna myn is broken the motor works but the mast is bent and will go down about 3/4 of the way and will go up about 1/2 the way! After lots of fiddleing and cleaning it and trying to bend it back its time to just get a new one! Weres the best place to get one? Thanks Defending Northstar perf a qtr mile at a time!!!! Others have told mne that the dealers have the kit for at least 1/2 the price though I could not find one at any GM dealer in the area (I called 3 or 4). I beleive they also sell entire motors but sounds like yours is good. runar Posted February 11, 2005 Report Share Posted February 11, 2005 Hi caddy. The GM kit comes only with the plastic tubing connected to the top third part of the antenna. They also have a kit with only the two lower sections of the anrenna. I bought one from Walmart and made some modification to the wiring. The FM was good, but the AM no good.
