New Kompact Dual Port BOVs for Cadillac ATS-V

With the new ATS-V, Cadillac has dived head first into the compact sports luxury sedan segment, and they didn’t mess around. With a twin-turbo 3.6-liter V6 under the hood, the ATS-V is not your grandma’s Caddy. It’s a true performance weapon, and Turbosmart have been working to find ways to improve the ATS-V’s already exhilarating twin-turbo experience.

The result is the Kompact Dual Port Blow-Off Valve kit for the Cadillac ATS-V. These blow-off valves have been designed to improve turbo response and reduce compressor surge, enhancing the efficiency and longevity of the ATS-V’s turbochargers – all while providing that high-performance blow-off valve sound that lets everyone know just what hides under the Cadillac’s hood.

The Kompact Dual Port is a 50-50 vent-to-atmosphere and recirculating valve. Its staged operation ensures enough air is recirculated back through the intake to keep the ECU happy and to ensure quiet operation at low boost, while maintaining the performance and sound of a vent-to-atmosphere blow-off valve.

If you’re planning to up the power of your Cadillac’s twin turbo powerplant, you can be sure the Kompact is up to the task. Extremely fine machining tolerances give the Kompact excellent sealing without the need for an O-ring between the body and the piston, which improves valve response and durability.

The Dual Port’s smart modular design also allows you to simply unscrew the vent-to-atmosphere trumpet, and replace it with the supplied blanking plug, to transform it to a full recirculating valve for quieter, under-the-radar operation, or to a full vent-to-atmosphere for massive blow-off valve sound!
