After 4 days I now have a SES light with a PCM P0741 current code.TCC System Stuck Off (?) What is this? This is the only code now. Anyway, Googled the code & read up on the possible tranny problems. with under 100k on this car I can't believe it's having trans. problems. I'm going to reset the codes & drive it. KHE Posted July 1, 2015 Report Share Posted July 1, 2015 Since the P1860 code is not set along with the P0741 code, the problem is worn seals in the torque converter lockup circuit. You can drive the car but you will notice reduced fuel economy and after a few years, the clutches in the torque converter will begin to disintegrate due to the increased heat that is generated by the torque converter slipping. A transmission shop can make the repairs along with a new torque converter for $1200-$1500.
