airmike
I have read about blend doors being a real pain to replace and thought I would share my experience. On my 99 sts it was a 20 minute job, once I found the correct one and figured out what I was doing. Mine was item 46 on the chart, and controlled the temperature. Nobody should pay to get that changed. 2 screw that hold a plastic cover, an electrical plug and 2 more screws in the part. thats it!!!
Cadillac Jim
Congratulations, and thank you for announcing that this is an easy DIY job. The diagram would be easier to read if it was in 3D. -- Click Here for CaddyInfo page on "How To" Read Your OBD Codes-- Click Here for my personal page to download my OBD code list as an Excel file, plus other Cadillac data -- See my CaddyInfo car blogs: 2011 CTS-V, 1997 ETC Yes, I was Jims_97_ETC before I changed cars.
