#42 Posted April 19, 2015 Report Share Posted April 19, 2015 Hello, I need to drop my fuel tank in order to replace the tank pressure sensor. One of the front most tank strap bolts cannot be removed. I would like to remove just the two, rearmost, strap bolts, bend the straps down and remove the tank. rockfangd Posted April 19, 2015 Report Share Posted April 19, 2015 from previous experience I dont believe so. You may be able to drop the tank enough to access the sensor though. Make sure the tank is almost empty, it will be alot easier. IIRC the tank tips out toward the left rear tire.
