Marika
http://www.tripplite.com/products/product.cfm?productID=2553 I'm thinking of purchasing this item to use in my '92 Seville SLS. Are they safe to use? If you really want to make people safe drivers again then simply remove all the safety features from cars. No more seat belts, ABS brakes, traction control, air bags or stability control. No more anything. You'll see how quickly people will slow down and once again learn to drive like "normal" humans. JasonA
I haven't used one in the Cadillac, but my family has used then in many cars and RVs before. Just monitor the main battery voltage regularly if you plan to run an electrical device for a long time. Jason(2001 STS, White Diamond) "When you turn your car on...does it return the favor?" RalPh
Before you buy one, check out Costco. They currently have a 1000 watt unit for $75.00 (pretty cheap) It depends, of course, on what you want to power with it (I've always been a more-is-better kind of guy )
