SevilleDorado Posted July 31, 2014 Report Share Posted July 31, 2014 Hello again - 95 ElDorado ETC - the security light on the dash suddenly stays on when ever the car is running - Never had a problem with it, car operates normally otherwise. Cadillac Jim Posted July 31, 2014 Report Share Posted July 31, 2014 The Security light (or any other warning light) comes on when an OBD code is set. Run the OBD I codes, write them down, and post them here and we can probably tell you what is wrong. It must be a connection , because it went out 2 days later, and hasn't come back on except for when starting or putting the key in wich is normal.
