Bruce Nunnally
Hmm; looks like my current datalogger can't log IAT2, which is a GM Custom PID used on turbo/supercharged vehicles. GM offers to sell their custom PID list for $50K per year apparently, so not something easy for all the scanning tools to afford. Now I am thinking get the HPTuners Scanner for $349, which is the full kit except you can't write to the PCM, or get the full kit for $499. My overall plan is if I have the STS-V Tuned at all to have it tuned by TrueStreet Motorsports in McKinney, who is helping me with my Spectre Intake Project before/after dyno. And if I get the scanner limited version now but decide I need the full version later, there is an update from one to the other. I want a datalogger, especially one that will let me easily post info for the Tuner to consider, or for graphics for the site/blog. HP Tuner appears to be a good solution for that.
