t.g.tbear
Hi! I bought my '03 CTS used back in February. The cd player has never worked on this vehicle and I was ok with that because I knew I was buying it used. The machine would make some noises and then I would get the error message "cd mech error". This past weekend I finally decided to have it looked at. It turns out I have the 6 disc cd changer installed. I was not satisfied with the customer service I had received so I did not have the repair done by that business. Now I am in a position where I probably need to do the work myself. I was told something about the cd player needing "realignment". I'm not sure what that means but I was wondering if anyone knows of any step-by-step instructions on how to repair this kind of equipment in a 2003 Cadillac cts. Thank you for your time. G.
