YMT2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Report Share Posted April 6, 2011 Hello everyone, this is my first post but I have been reading through the forums for some time now, and its really good to see people with the same enthusiasm for these great Cars!! My 03 CTS has about 193k , I am very fortunate to say that besides routine maintenance its been a dream car. Its in dire need of a change of front struts and rear shocks, however my wallet is not permissive of the gm parts. So I was hoping that some of u experts can suggest what would be a good replacement setup, I am mostly interested in monroe, but open to suggestions, thanks in advance for your help.! You can search at Rockauto and they will have alternative strut/shock choices. You may try searching the archives, but my memory does not recall much aftermarket strut activity on the CTS. I just went to rockauto, I dont see much difference between AC DELCO and Monroe, I would stick with AC DELCO. The rear is a little confusing you will need the vin number. I would stay AC Delco for the ride, plus they lasted you this long.
