rexschofield Posted March 15, 2011 Report Share Posted March 15, 2011 As I drove my 06 CTS the gauges began to go on and off the speedometer is now working and the tach is working but while the car is in park the gas and temp gauges are off and the orange driving lights are on. If I shut the car off I cannot get the key out. The car runs fine the brake does not have to be applied to put the car in gear. I can shut the car off no problem but cannot get the key out. Any help? rexschofield Posted March 16, 2011 Author Report Share Posted March 16, 2011 Yes it will run, but the car thinks it is in drive, electically. the driving light are on while in park. The key will go to the accessory setting and shut off the engine but you can't pull out the key. Also the gas gauge and the temp gauges will not work.
